JOIN US TO HELP CREATE POLLINATOR HABITAT:
Last May, a proclamation officially designated the first week of June as Pollinator Week in Dover — a time to recognize and protect the vital role pollinators play in our environment. We invite all Dover residents to take part in this community celebration by joining local activities and taking simple, impactful steps to support pollinators:
🌱 Plant native species – Especially milkweed and other native, flowering plants that provide food and habitat for pollinators.
🐝 Learn & Act – Discover the effects of pesticides on pollinators and commit to pollinator-friendly gardening and lawn care practices.
🌍 Support local efforts – Get involved with organizations in our community working to preserve and restore healthy environments.
Together, we can protect the pollinators that help our ecosystems thrive. Let’s make Dover bloom with purpose!
